Mineral Trade is a marketplace where mining companies list and discover mineral rights, raw minerals and heavy equipment. Sellers publish an ad through a guided wizard; buyers search, filter and message sellers directly.
A platform that had outgrown its own design
Mineral Trade already worked, but years of features had piled on unevenly; components repeated with small differences, spacing drifted from screen to screen, and a flat blue interface that didn't carry the weight of the deals it handled. A client trade fair set the deadline, so it had to get better without going offline.

Mineral Trade before the rebuild
One marketplace, one guided listing flow
Every mineral right, mineral and machine in one searchable place. Listing an ad is a four-step wizard: category, details, documents, review, before it goes live.

A closer look at the buyer and seller experience.

Three choices that shaped the product

A wizard, not a wall of fields
Listing is split into four steps, so a detailed listing never looks like a long form.

Status you can see at a glance
Every ad carries its state (pending, declined, visible) with the next action one click away.

Filters that match the domain
Buyers filter by category, mineral and equipment type with live counts: the industry's own vocabulary.
A live two-sided marketplace
Public search and listings, a guided seller wizard, an account dashboard, and direct buyer-to-seller messaging, built on Next.js and Prisma.
